Navigating Entrepreneurship: An 18-Month Journey of Growth and Resilience

I feel like the past year and a half has been relentless. In many ways, it’s been the most challenging 18 months of my career. Being part of a double-entrepreneur household in the real estate industry can be tough. Can you relate?

But despite all the difficulties, I’ve come to realize that we’ve made incredible progress both personally and professionally.

In January 2022 we were looking at launching one company, making significant pivots in another, and advancing a complex hospitality project. It was overwhelming, and I often wondered (worried) how we would manage it all.

However, with relentless determination and a brutal focus on our priorities, we’ve achieved remarkable results. Two out of our three major ventures have experienced substantial revenue growth. We’ve also made some outstanding hires who are now propelling our projects forward in measurable ways. It’s certainly been the proverbial “learning experience,” but we’ve adapted and have learned how to operate in this economy.

On a personal level, I’ve taken a fresh approach to my health, and I can confidently say that I know my body better now than ever before. Finally, I’m starting to see the results that I’ve been striving for, but that seemed elusive for years.

Sometimes, I can be impatient with myself, especially when I only consider the progress made in a week or a month. But when I step back and look at the bigger picture since the beginning of 2022, I’m filled with gratitude for the distance we’ve covered thanks to many individuals who have helped along the way. #TeamEffort

If you’re feeling less than inspired by your own progress, I encourage you to zoom out and take a fresh look at it.

You might surprise yourself by realizing just how far you’ve truly come!
