I recently shared a video on LinkedIn about how sometimes in order to grow, you need to fire yourself. (If you haven’t seen it yet, you can watch the video here.) It really resonated with many of you, and so I thought I’d highlight it here and point you to my LinkedIn page to see some additional video content.
The truth is entrepreneurs need to have a lot of confidence in their abilities and a wide set of skills to be successful. That doesn’t mean we’re actually as good at everything as we think we are. Failing to recognize the limits of our abilities will inevitably stall our growth. For example, I’m good at managing a few key deputies, but I’m not so great at managing deeper into the organization, and when I do that for an extended period of time it creates problems. I need to fire myself quickly from that level of management.
Key honest question: where do you need to fire yourself?
Maybe it’s in your finances! If so, have you checked out Alchemy of Money? We might be able to help you with that.
